Step 1

Your Initial Visit

Upon entering the showroom our team are on hand to talk you through each material – whether it be our natural granite, marble, limestone, slate or our range of Arenastone engineered quartz that you are looking for, we’re here to help. However, the real showroom is outside!

We will take you on a tour of our fantastic full sized slabs. From exotic granites originating in the mountains of India to the more traditional, serene marbles hailing from where Apennine mountains meet the Ligurian Sea in North West Italy, there’s nothing like viewing an entire slab. When choosing material for your next project, it’s a great idea to bring a sample of your door, flooring and/or your paint colours with you. This way we can offer them up to your chosen slab and start building a picture. Our showroom team are more than happy to spend as long as you need to make sure the stone is the right choice for you – no matter how many times you visit us.

Once you have selected your favourites, we are then more than happy to give you an initial estimate based on your plans. Should you be working with one of our trade customers we’ll gladly liaise directly with them.

Step 2

Reserving your slabs and templating

We welcome you to visit again to view your chosen material and confirm that you are happy before we take your deposit to reserve your slabs and book in those all-important template and installation dates.

Once your structure has been fitted square, level and plumb and any accessories have been delivered to your site, we can carry out the templating.

During this process, our highly-experienced teams of fitters will check that your framework is sound and they will then begin taking accurate measurements. After this they will then cut full size MDF templates that they will lay on top of the desired area for your approval. Within these templates, they will plot any cut outs (sinks, taps, hobs, sockets etc.) so that you can visualise everything and confirm that you are happy to proceed.

Step 3

After templating has taken place, the full sized MDF templates will be brought back to Bristol Marble and Granite and you will receive a final price confirmation based on the definitive sizes. At this stage, all items must be confirmed and your second deposit paid before we can begin production.

If you wish, you are welcome to then come in and plot your tops onto your chosen slabs with our workshop foreman, who will give you all the advice and assistance you need to get you the very best result possible.

Step 4

Once all details have been confirmed your job will go live for production in our onsite, high tech workshop and will be handled by some of the best stone masons in the industry. From the initial cut to the final polished edges, all of which are hand finished by our workshop team who will handle your job with care and respect.

Step 5

During your installation, the initial team that carried out your templating will be back to fit the finished product. Once complete we then ask you to check and sign your acceptance before our team leave you to enjoy your beautiful new stone feature.
